The interior of Kaif Burger immerses guests in the provocative world of Morgenstern's music. Giant digital screens not only display the current menu but also showcase clips from his music videos, creating a dynamic and engaging environment. The sense of grotesque is further enhanced by art objects throughout the space. A one million dollar bill with the rapper's portrait, printed with a 3D printer, adorns one wall, while a deformed metal counter, strapped with sling belts, appears to be under invisible pressure. The art theme is further supported by a large stainless steel bubble gum installation, adding a touch of whimsy to the overall design.
The design of Kaif Burger goes beyond aesthetics and incorporates unique elements that enhance the dining experience. The floor, paved with gray and white terrazzo tiles, features the logo and the inscription "One Million Burgers," adding a playful touch to the space. Minimalistic concrete walls serve as a canvas for installations and paintings by contemporary artists, adding an artistic flair to the interior. The standout feature of the design is the deformed metal counter, which not only serves as a functional element but also becomes a striking art piece. All furniture pieces, including the concrete sink, are made-to-order, ensuring a cohesive and customized design.
With a total dining area of 60 square meters and a ceiling height of 4 meters, Kaif Burger is designed to accommodate a bustling crowd. The architects have strategically provided separate entrances and exits to ensure smooth flow and distribution of guests. The giant digital screens, showcasing Morgenstern's music videos, add a sense of motion and energy to the space, further enhancing the overall dining experience.
Kaif Burger is located in the historical center of Moscow, on the ground floor of a historical building on Nikolskaya Street. The project, which started in June 2021 and was completed in September 2021, has garnered high praise and media coverage in both Russian and international interior design publications.
The design of Kaif Burger was the result of extensive research and analysis of Morgenstern's creativity and message. The architects aimed to convey his provocative and unique style through the interior design, creating a space that reflects his persona and resonates with his fans. The combination of contemporary and street art elements, along with carefully curated installations and furniture, brings Morgenstern's world to life within the walls of Kaif Burger.
Despite the challenges posed by the limited space, the architects at Archpoint Bureau made the most of every centimeter, utilizing a loft for the cooking area and ensuring optimal functionality and flow. The deformed metal counter, a standout feature of the design, showcases their innovative approach to shaping steel and adds an element of intrigue to the overall design.
Kaif Burger stands as a testament to the fusion of luxury, contemporary art, and fast food. It offers a unique and immersive dining experience for those seeking a taste of Morgenstern's world. With its provocative design, engaging digital displays, and carefully curated art objects, Kaif Burger is a must-visit destination for both fans of the rapper and enthusiasts of innovative interior design.
